Skillet Slaw
When weeknights are busy, this Weeknight Skillet Slaw is your go-to: ground turkey, crisp coleslaw mix, peppers, scallions, and a tangy sauce come together in just 25 minutes for a vibrant, protein-packed meal

- 1 tablespoon chipotle hot sauce (such as Cholula®)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1½ teaspoons minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ tablespoon ground black pepper
- 8 oz package of coleslaw mix
- ½ red bell pepper, diced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- In a small bowl, whisk together chipotle hot sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, and agave to make the sauce.
- Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until juices run clear, about 6 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the turkey to a bowl, leaving juices in the skillet.
- Add coleslaw mix, diced red pepper, green onions, and garlic to the skillet; cook until the slaw begins to wilt, about 1–2 minutes.
- Stir in the sauce, mixing until veggies are coated, about 1 minute.
- Return turkey to the pan, toss until heated through, 2–3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
