    We lived in 2 apartments before we bought our first home. We were so ready to buy a clothes washer and dryer! That was heavenly to not have to lug the laundry basket up and down stairs with the laundry soap, etc. That was in 1974 and we haven’t looked back to our time without those great machines! 😊

    I have always been afraid of the dark but wasn’t allowed to have a nightlight. One of the first things I bought myself when I left home was a nightlight. My husband cannot sleep with any light in the bedroom. We have blackout curtains. So much for the one I bought years ago!
