I think as long as establishment is okay you're okay. Social activities help you mentally and emotionally. Live for yourself and be happy. Your health and well-being is more important than the nay-sayers opinion.

As an 80 year old grandmother suggestion. What about a keep sake box. There are wooden puzzle boxes online with different themes (ie: turtles, fish, etc) then put inside special things from you. Can be notes, something you kept from a time together, etc. Value in money is not answer...

My family had a double tub wringer washer on front porch. Monday was wash day. First heated water on stove then carried out to washer. Second side was for rinse water. Start with white clothes and finished with Dad's bibbed overalls. Clothes hung on line. In winter we had freeze dried clothes.

Personal chef! They need to clean up and do grocery shopping,too.

I agree all smoke and mirrors. Cancelling leases, etc maybe beneficial but should check what property being used for. The confusion caused very traumatic for working class individuals.
