Ben & Jerry’s has been celebrating Free Cone Day since 1979 as a way to thank its customers.
This year, the tradition continues on April 8, 2025, and the company is aiming to serve over a million free scoops across the US and in 34 other countries.
Every visitor to a Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop on Free Cone Day can claim one free cone with a scoop of any flavor—including fan-favorites like Cherry Garcia, Chunky Monkey, and Phish Food, as well as exclusive flavors like Mango.
And if one scoop isn’t enough? You can get back in line as many times as you like!
Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops nationwide are participating in Free Cone Day, and you can find your nearest location by checking the Ben & Jerry’s website.
Shops will typically be serving free cones from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. local time, but it’s always a good idea to check your local store’s hours before heading out.
