Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips

Do you remember when Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips was the go-to spot for a crispy, satisfying meal? That signature golden-battered fish, thick-cut fries, and splash of vinegar made it a standout from the usual fast-food fare. For many, it was a Friday night tradition or a special treat after a busy day. Was it a regular stop for you? Share your memories with us! And while you're at it, drop by the forum and tell us about your favorite restaurant from the past!

Our anniversary is in September. We lived in a small town of about 175 people. To treat ourselves we drove 150 miles south to the state capitol of Bismarck North Dakota. Great shopping and many restaurants that didn’t have chain restaurants near home. We took advantage of Arthur Treacher’s Fish and Chips. We would spend the weekend in Bismarck catching at least 2 lunches there. It had amazing fish and the best thick chips we’ve ever eaten! There aren’t any of them in Kentucky. So sad

It definitely worked out well. We have been married for over 52 years now but no more good fish and chips. So sad
