As I was lying in my bed waiting to fall asleep, I kept hearing a pounding on the side of the boat. It sounded like someone was hitting the side of the boat with a hammer. I asked one of the crew about it and they said that was the water hitting the side of the boat! That was when we were going through the Drake Passage, which is supposed to be some of the roughest water in the world.
