Hey GrayViners!

I’ve got a feel-good question for you today: What’s a small, unexpected act of kindness that made your day recently?

Maybe a stranger covered your coffee, someone held the door when your hands were full, or a friend sent a random "thinking of you" message. Whatever it was, let’s hear it—because good vibes deserve to be shared!

I’ll go first: The other day, I dropped my grocery bag in the parking lot (right as a can of soup made a break for freedom 🙃), and a kind soul not only helped pick everything up but also made a joke about the soup "running away from dinner". A simple moment, but it turned an annoying mishap into a laugh.

Your turn! What’s a small act of kindness that gave you a little boost? Drop your story below!

Cheers!

There are so many if you look for them! Yes, holding a door for me when my arms were full of groceries, seeing me in the lobby and sitting down for a brief chat, letting me go ahead when pulling out of a parking spot. Just open up your awareness and you'll (probably) see many.

I recently had knee surgery and had to have a steel rod put in my left leg, the 5 little kids who live across the street came over and helped me walk to their house. I call them my Joy! It's not easy being in your 70's! They are the best!

I walk with a cane so I use the ride on carts at Walmart. Everyone is so kind. The lady in front of me at the checkout held back when she was done and put my bags in the basket and then walked out to the car with me to put the bags in my car for me. What a blessing this dear soul was!

A couple of weeks ago my sister and I were having lunch and cathing up...our waitress came by as we were finishing up and told us the gentleman sitting across the isle , had paid for our lunch. We were so surprised and thankful.

At the grocery store, I was looking at small packages of blackberries, when a man came up and handed me two dollars to buy some. Such a kind person.

I went to Aldi for avocados. I ended up with a heavy bag of things from the Aisle of Shame. A very nice young lady (late 20's - early 30's) asked if I wanted to go ahead of her. How refreshing for someone to see that I only had what I could lug, and she had a full cart. THANKS!!

I am an 85 year old widow who lives alone. Recently I had a car accident and the DMV took my license while they had me get medical checkup, eyes and ears checked and a retaking of both written driver's test and the road test. Of course, I had no way to get to these appointments. I had a neighbor who offered to take me to these appointments. She also checks on me if I miss church. Some people might thing she is nosy but I know she is checking on my health. Couldn't ask for a better neighbor.

I deliver meals to homebound people and I got to do that today! It’s always a pleasure to talk to these people and to check on them, they always bless me and I hope I make their day a little better!
