Working On The Car With Your Dad

Do you remember the first time you helped fix a car? Maybe you were eager to learn, standing by with a flashlight, ready to assist. For many of us, it turned into a lesson in patience—mostly holding the light in just the right spot while getting an occasional sigh or a "not there!" from dad.

It wasn’t just about fixing the car; it was a rite of passage. A moment of bonding, even if all we really learned was how to stand still and keep quiet!

I loved helping my dad with the car’s engine. Even if it was to turn the key when he told me to when I was eight years old. I felt like I was a big help. But now as a female I know a little about how a car’s engine works so I can’t be over sold to when I go get my oil changed, or other things done.
Great memories with helping dad. ❤️
I also learned my first cuss words from him 🤣🤣
