Would You Rather? 04.10.2025​

Hello GrayViners,

I have an intriguing question for you today: Would you rather live in a world where it’s always summer, or one where it’s always winter? 🌞❄️

For me, the warmth and energy of a perpetual summer sound appealing, but there’s a certain quiet beauty in the calm of eternal winter.

I’d love to hear your thoughts—please share them below!

If that was the only choice, I would pick summer. But I really prefer four seasons like we get in New England. The contrast helps create appreciation!
 
Oddly enough I don’t get along with the sweltering heat of summer. All day every day will NOT put me in the happy camper club!
However I can always put more clothes on/layering to deal with the cold weather. You can only take off SO many clothes in the summer and remain decently dressed! After all, I don’t want to be arrested! I could vacation now and then if I needed to feel the sun on my shoulders. Lol 🤣🤭😎
Besides, cold weather makes for GREAT SNUGGLING TIME! Oh yeah!
 
I would like summer the year round. Cold weather too hard on me. Could do away with humidity though. Lived in places where at time got to 117 but no humidity. Loved it
 
Summer I don't do well in the winter when i breathe in cold air i get sick with something every time in the summer i can go out and let the heat soak into my bones which helps my arthritic aches and pains plus I love to grow flowers and veggies i would love to have fresh veggies out of my garden year round its just so much easier too cool off then get warm no need for propane less bills I could go on and on I don't know how much time I have no one does so I would definitely want to be warm before I'm forever cold

I would rather have summer because the weather is less turbulent and you can still climb mountain or swim in the streams.

Actually, I like autumn the best. Not too hot, not too cold, and the leaves are gorgeous when they change colors.
 
I prefer the seasons but would prefer none are extreme, Mild summers nothing above 80 and mild winters nothing below 50 and no snow or flooding.
 
Summer for sure. I love having our kids and grandkids come over for cookouts and the pool. When it's winter everyone stays inside.
 
Summer for me. Love walking around barefoot in the garden and feeling the warmth on my body. Get to enjoy the flowers, plants and butterflies. Not into winter as it is too cold for me and I hate shoveling.
