Classic Chicken Marsala

An Italian restaurant dish made simple enough for home cooks!

Ingredients:
  • 4 chicken cutlets (1 lb)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
Directions:
  1. Season chicken; dredge in flour.
  2. Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter. Cook chicken 3-4 mins/side; remove.
  3. Sauté mushrooms; add wine, simmer for 2 mins.
  4. Add broth; return chicken. Simmer for 5 mins.
  5. Stir in remaining butter.
