Which one did you notice first—the eye of the alligator or the dragonfly sitting on its eyelid? (Do alligators even have eyelids?) Either way, the contrast between ancient predator and delicate insect feels like an oddly tender moment. One where predator and prey can co-exist even with the laws of nature in place.
