Are you ready to go outside? (to the dogs)

my uncle had one that talked who could imitate the fire alarm and also picked up some not so nice names for their neighbor.

My brother’s blue & gray would say - ‘I can talk, can you fly?’
loved hearing her so much!

No poopy on mommy.I do have a very small bird , that is in the parrot family that I am trying to potty train I know what your thinking , Good Luck With That.
Thanks for sharing @rosy202No poopy on mommy” made me laugh out loud! 😂 And I love that you’re actually trying to potty train your little bird. That’s impressive! What kind of bird do you have? Has there been any success with the training since you first wrote in? I’m genuinely curious how it’s going!

You dogs shut up
Thanks for sharing @rlm1950You dogs shut up” sounds like something a parrot would shout with perfect timing! 😄 Do you have a few noisy pups at home who might’ve inspired that? When we first asked this question, was that a daily phrase in your house?

At the age of 72, I'd never thought these words would be coming out of my mouth so often: : "Get off there you little brat!" (Directed toward my four 'temporary' foster kittens two years later...)
Haha, what a vivid image—those kittens sound like they’ve kept you on your toes @Seasick Annie ! I can just imagine a parrot picking up that phrase and using it at exactly the wrong moment. 😄 Are the “temporary” fosters still with you, or have some of them found their forever homes since you first shared this? Thanks for the great chuckle!

What the heck is wrong with people?
Now that’s a phrase a parrot could really run with—especially if it picked up your tone too! 😆 Was there something in particular that had you saying that a lot when we first asked the question? Or is it just a good all-purpose phrase these days? Appreciate you sharing this one @Kellysrus —really funny and relatable!

"I Love You"
That’s such a sweet and timeless choice—“I love you” would be lovely to hear from a parrot every day. 💛 Was there someone special you had in mind when you picked that phrase? Or maybe a memory that made it stand out back when we first asked? Thanks so much for sharing this gentle and heartfelt answer @Trix !

Why did I come into the kitchen?
That one made me smile @orbearis —so relatable! A parrot saying “Why did I come into the kitchen?” would probably have perfect comedic timing too. 😄 Is that something you find yourself saying out loud a lot? Or was it just the perfect snapshot of how life felt when we asked the question? Thanks for such a fun and familiar answer!

"Stop scratching my couch", I say to my cat Simba.
Sounds like Simba has left quite an impression—definitely the kind of phrase a parrot would pick up quickly! 😹 Has Simba eased up on the couch-scratching since you shared this, or is that still a daily battle? Thanks for the fun (and very cat-parent) response @NIBOR0 !

Same as yours "where did I put my glasses "
Ah yes, “Where did I put my glasses?”—such a classic! You’re definitely not alone with that one. I think a parrot could have a lot of fun repeating it every time you stand up! 😄 Do you still find yourself saying it often, or have you come up with a good system since we first asked? Thanks for jumping in with this perfectly relatable phrase @tdezangel !
