Can you imagine not singing your national anthem? Image Credit: 42 North/Pexels

Spain’s national anthem, the “Marcha Real” (or the “Royal March”), is one of the few national anthems in the world with no official lyrics. Though it's been around since at least the 18th century, no words have ever stuck—and several attempts to add them over the years have either been rejected or faded away.

That means when Spain's anthem plays at international events, fans don’t sing — they clap, cheer, or simply listen. In a world of lyrical anthems filled with patriotism and poetry, Spain proudly stands out with a tune that speaks volumes... without saying a word. Got your own fun facts you'd like to share? Post them below or in another thread!
