Would You Rather? 05.16.2025

Hey GrayViners!

I’ve got a little “Would You Rather” challenge for you today—a brain teaser that’s sure to get everyone talking. So, here it is:

Would you rather have the ability to pause time for everyone but yourself for one hour each day, OR instantly transport to any destination in the world—but only once a month?

I’ll admit, I’d pick the time-pause in a heartbeat. Just imagine: a quiet hour all to myself, with nobody interrupting. I could finally finish a book, catch my breath after a busy day, or even sneak in a second breakfast without anyone knowing!

But I’m curious—what would YOU choose? Are you the type who craves a bit of secret “me time,” or are you dreaming of jetting off to Paris for lunch and making it back home by dinner?

Tell me your pick and why below. Let’s see which power reigns supreme! 💬👇

Cheers!
Blue 💙

Be able to transport to anywhere once a month. I’m in California and I would go back to NeeYork to make sure my cousin was ok

I would like to transport to different places. There are so many states and countries I want to see and am unable to because of caring for my mom.

Stop time for everyone else.
I wouldn’t want to transport somewhere and then need to find my own way back or stay there for a month. The option does not say it’s a round-trip.

Any destination in the world is my choice. Just think of the sights you could see and the things you could do.

Instantly transport to any destination in the world—free sightseeing!
Thanks so much for joining the conversation @Marilea ! Instantly transporting anywhere sounds like an amazing way to satisfy that travel bug—and free sightseeing is definitely a huge bonus. If you could teleport anywhere first, where would you go?

Thank you for sharing @Pattij50 —it’s lovely to hear how much you care about your cousin. Being able to instantly check in on loved ones like that would be such a powerful use of the ability. We hope your cousin is doing well. If you could squeeze in a little sightseeing while in New York, where would you go first?

Thank you so much for sharing that with us @Hazeleyes . It’s beautiful that you’re caring for your mom, and we really admire your dedication. The idea of being able to explore the world—even just once a month—sounds like the perfect little escape. If you had the chance, which destination would be at the top of your travel list?

Thank you for joining the conversation and sharing that with us @Pengo . The ability to transport anywhere would be such a gift—especially when travel isn’t always financially possible. There’s so much beauty in the world to explore. If cost wasn’t a factor, where would you love to go first?

I choose to transport once a month. I would love to visit all of the places on my bucket list!
Thanks for jumping in and sharing your choice @Gayle B. ! Being able to tick off those bucket list destinations one by one sounds like a dream come true. Do you have a top spot on the list that you'd visit first?

Thanks for that thoughtful take @DJB55121 ! You make a great point—it doesn’t say it’s a round-trip, and being stuck somewhere for a whole month could definitely be tricky. Pausing time sounds like a safer (and possibly more productive!) choice. If you had that extra hour each day, how do you think you’d use it?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts @Arkie98 ! It’s totally fair to want a guaranteed return trip—no one wants to be stranded, no matter how beautiful the destination! Having two or three bucket list spots sounds exciting—care to share what they are?

Thanks so much for jumping into the conversation @AuntGranny ! You’re absolutely right—being able to explore the world like that opens up endless possibilities. Imagine the adventures, the food, the cultures! Do you have a dream destination you’d visit first?
