Have You Played With This?

Raise your hand if you ever hopped on one of these, held on for dear life, and spun until you couldn’t walk straight! 😂 Nothing beats the thrill of spinning with your cousins or neighborhood pals until someone yelled, “I’m gonna be sick!” Do you remember what this wild ride was called? Let’s see who still has their playground memory in gear! Want to talk about other classic games you used to play? Let's discuss them here!

You sure named a BUNCH of fun games to make playing more fun!

I spent hours playing on this piece of playground equipment but I can’t for the life of me remember what it is called. I loved the feeling of spinning that hard! It worked a lot better when there were 4 kids on it. Otherwise it wasn’t so much fun. I hope someone remembers the name of this equipment. It’s driving me nut. Monkey bars were one of my favorites. I felt good getting across them and back. Getting stronger every couple of week or so. Good times! 😎

Don't forget crab soccer! We used to play that in PE. And in our neighborhood we would play Kick the Can and Ghost in the Graveyard.

This was called a Whirligig. A type of Merry-Go-Round. We had them where I grew up and had all kinds of kids falling off of it. They took it out of the playground as several kids had broken bones. Not a very safe ride.

I’m so glad you knew what this was called. It’s been driving me nuts trying to remember the name of it! 🥴
