How are you doing, GrayViners? 👋

I promised I’d show you my favorite mug—so here it is! I collect mugs from my travels, and this one’s from a 2019 trip to India. I was in Hyderabad for work and stayed for about six weeks. On our first weekend, our wonderful hosts took us to a local arts and crafts village, and that’s where I spotted this beautiful find.

It made me wonder... Do you collect anything special? Whether it’s postcards, stamps, or something totally unique—I’d love to hear (or maybe see!) what you’ve gathered over the years. Share your stories with me in the comments!

Through out the years i had collected many things. Use to be into owls big time but as time things change. Still have an item or two from collections, such as a round Pyrex coffee pot. My focus now is Roosters. From ceramic to wood to vibrant colors and they are metal. Would love to have a big one for my yard but asking price is $225 so have by passed that.

My father gave me the love of Christmas when l was little. We may not have much but he was like a little kid. l started a tradition of buying a yearly ornament each year. Especially after my daughter was born. Then l got remarried and that is when it really got bad. Every year an ornament was bought for each kid(he had 2) and our couple ornaments. Vacations souveniers were ornaments and Colts ornaments. We had to add trees for them. Plus Angels for me and Eagles and Marilyn for him. We have a family tree that has around 200+ ornaments A vacay/sports tree that has over 100 and the Angel/Eagle/Marilyn with around 60. We add around 10 each year. lt has become an obsession with me.

I also collect cups! That's always my favorite thing to get when traveling. I collected horse plates in the 80s - 90s. I have three full sets. I will never give them up.

Way too many things. started years ago with business cards (usually free) and have way too many. also my record collection and pictorial postmarks just to name a few

I collected souvenir spoons from states that I have been in and countries if I can find any. Members of my family got me spoons from places they have been as well so I have 2 separate spoon display cases.

Music boxes from wherever my husband went. I also collect snow globes. My favorite music box was bought in the San Francisco Music Box Company. My husband was on temporary duty assignment (TDY) there in the 70’s had a hard time NOT telling me what he had gotten before getting home! Such a sweetheart! 🥰😲 🫡🇺🇸
Oh my 1st music box was from my parents. It was a wedding gift from my dad to my mom. She gave it to me after they had a huge argument. It plays 3 songs to this day! That was 62 years ago! 🎶🫶🏼

I started collecting crystals a few yrs ago, after having collections in many rooms,
I had to quit, but I love them, and enjoy looking and touching them.

That's quite a large collection, @Capaten1! I collect crystals, too! My favorites are carnelian flames and fluorite towers. What's yours?

By the way, can we feature your photo in our newsletter? Let us know!

Sure, can show my living room collection. Not the only one, that’s why I had to quit collecting! My favorite is moonstone and tourmaline. But love all the pink stones! Then there’s citrine. Guess I don’t have a favorite!😊
