And The Winner Is...
Four businessmen held a reunion after not seeing each other since university. All had become successful and wealthy over the past forty years, and were enjoying dinner at a high-end restaurant. During the meal, one of them stepped away to take a phone call, leaving the other three to chat about their children’s accomplishments.
"My son is an engineer," said the first. "He works for a major automotive company and helped design several well-known sports cars. He’s done so well, he bought his girlfriend one of only fifty limited-edition supercars as a Christmas gift."
"Impressive," said the second. "My son is an architect. He’s designed some iconic buildings and done very well for himself. Just last month, he finished building a custom-designed mansion as a gift for his girlfriend."
"That’s great, but listen to this," said the third. "My son runs a yacht design company that caters to celebrities and billionaires. He’s so successful, he gave his girlfriend one of his top-of-the-line yachts last summer."
They were all smiling and congratulating each other when the fourth friend returned to the table. “We’ve been bragging about our kids,” they told him. “How’s yours doing?”
“Well,” he said, “my daughter’s doing just fine. In fact, over the last year alone, she’s been given a supercar, a mansion, and a yacht.”
