Thanks for sharing @NIBOR0 !Ir'a mountain view for me!!!
Thanks for sharing that @Gayle B. !Hands down for me is the peaceful view during the day! You can have all the lights and goings on of the late night hours in the city! I would end up with a migraine. The lights are usually flashing or pulsing with the musical beats. Argh! Can’t handle that.
Thanks for sharing that @Belli1020 !A peaceful mountain View any day!
Thanks for sharing that @GaryBlake !The mountain view all day, every day.
Thanks for sharing that @LMT !Mountains are my great escape from the hustle and bustle of urban living. Nothing compares to being surrounded by the majestic beauty of mountains, the clarity of the night sky, the biacoustics of nature, and the babbling, splashing, and rushing sounds of mountain streams.
Yes, ma'am. My late uncle bought hundreds of acres on top of a mountain in the Kiamichi mountain range in SE Oklahoma. We spent weeks there building a cabin, sleeping in big screened in tents, and bathing in a stream on the property. It was only accessible w/4 wheel drive or dirt bike. We would hike to the summit and crack open a cold Coors and toast my uncle's son, my cousin James, whom the mountain was named for. He was killed in Vietnam. Thanks for sharing that @GaryBlake !Sounds like you’re all about that mountain life — can’t blame you, the scenery is breathtaking no matter the season. Do you have a favorite mountain area or a place you’d love to wake up to every morning?
Thanks for sharing that @Hazeleyes !I like the Mountain View. Very peaceful.
Thanks for sharing that @Carol * !A peaceful mountain view during the day.
I have to say that I enjoy both. Thanks for sharing that @Carol * !A peaceful mountain view in the daylight really does lift the spirit — the colors, the stillness, and the fresh air all work their magic. Do you enjoy going for walks or just sitting back and taking in the view when you’re in the mountains?
It is an every so often getaway. Taking care of my blind and disabled mom makes it hard to enjoy as much as I want to. Now I just make a point to take her once a year to either visit relatives or go places she remembers from when she traveled or when we had family vacations. Thanks for sharing that @Hazeleyes !There’s something so calming about a mountain view — it just makes you breathe a little deeper and slow down. Do you get to enjoy that kind of peaceful scenery often, or is it more of a holiday getaway for you?
