Crockpot Million Dollar Pasta

Rich, creamy, and loaded with layers of pasta, sauce, beef, and cheese — this slow cooker “million dollar” pasta truly lives up to its name. It’s hearty comfort food made simple: just layer, cook, and let the crockpot do all the work for you.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 (24 oz) jars spaghetti sauce
  • 24 oz jar water
  • 16 oz box cavatappi pasta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. Brown and crumble the ground beef with salt and pepper; drain excess grease.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta, garlic, and parsley.
  3. In a 6-quart slow cooker, spread half a jar of spaghetti sauce.
  4. Layer half the dry pasta, half the beef, and dollops of the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Add remaining pasta, sauce, and beef. Pour in water.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours, or until pasta is tender.
  7. Stir gently, then top with mozzarella cheese. Cover until melted.
