Happy hump day, dear GrayViners! How are you all doing? Great, safe, and healthy I hope!

It’s interesting how our routines change over the years, isn’t it? Lately, I’ve been waking up around 6:30 a.m.—no alarm needed, even on weekends! ⏰ Do you still set an alarm clock, or does your body handle wake-up duty now? Tell us in the comments below and see when everyone else starts their morning!

When I was working in the Hospital, I would wake up at 5.30 everyday, make breakfast, take a shower, and dress up be at work before 8.00, I still today wake up at the same hour and at 6.30 I am out the door for my morning walk. No alarms to wake me up .

Good question. I need to take medication 2 hours before breakfast. Clock is set at 5. Go back to sleep if possible. Set again at 7 for breakfast.
If it weren’t for the meds we would sleep in until we felt like being awake for the day. We do some exercises to help with our mobility issues and get on with the rest of our day. For years after retiring we woke up as if we set the alarm clock. Fortunately that garbage eventually died off!

Most wonderful part of being retired. No alarms (usually) You wake up when you're ready to. For one 10- year period, I had a 146- mile round trip commute. You can imagine how early my day started. Horrible!

Since I am a 75 year old retired male, I set the alarm on my old flip phone for 10 a.m. - I am up at least one hour ahead of my alarm on most days.
