Wrong Delivery
A man came bursting into the emergency room one afternoon, his face pale and his voice trembling. “Help! My wife’s going to have her baby—in the cab outside!” he shouted.
Without a second thought, a young doctor grabbed his medical bag and sprinted toward the parking lot. Sure enough, a row of taxis sat idling by the curb. His pulse quickened—there wasn’t a moment to waste. He dashed to the nearest cab, flung the door open, and found a woman sitting in the backseat.
“Don’t worry, ma’am!” he said breathlessly. “I’m here to help!” He dropped to his knees, lifted her dress, and began to remove her underwear in preparation for the birth.
Just then, a blood-curdling scream filled the air—followed by a frantic voice from a few cars down.
“Over here, Doctor! I’m the one having the baby!”
The doctor froze, realizing in horror... he was in the wrong cab.
