A Father-Son Moment
A man took an elevator up to the eleventh floor for a meeting.
As they got out, the operator said, "Have a good day, son."
"Don't call me son," he said. "You're not my dad."
The operator scratched his head and said, "No, but I brought you up, didn't I?"
After the meeting, the man returned to the elevator to go back down, and the same operator was there. The man said nothing to him, but when they got to the ground floor, the operator said, "I'm sorry."
"Because you thought you were my dad?" The man asked.
The operator shook his head. "No, son, because I let you down."
