Krispy Kreme is officially bringing back its limited-edition Chocolate Glazed Donuts for one day only in honor of World Chocolate Day on July 7.

For the first time ever, the company is teaming up with Hershey’s to enrich its already fan-favorite glaze with Hershey’s chocolate.

This means the Original Glazed donuts will be fully dipped in a smooth, rich Hershey’s chocolate coating.

Krispy Kreme stated in a news release that it’s “upping its chocolate game,” calling this year's version “extra chocolatey.”

According to Krispy Kreme Chief Growth Officer Dave Skena, “Krispy Kreme fans always anticipate we’ll return our Chocolate Glazed donuts on World Chocolate Day, so this year we’re making it extra special and extra chocolatey by adding Hershey’s to the glaze for the first time.”

He added, “It’s amazing, but only for one day. So, don’t miss out on this.” To make the celebration even sweeter, Krispy Kreme is offering a special deal to go along with the return.

On July 7, customers who buy any dozen donuts at regular price can get a dozen Chocolate Glazed Donuts for 50% off.

It’s a limited-time promotion available for just that one day. That means more donuts, more chocolate, and more reason to share—or not.
