This warm, cinnamon-kissed apple crumble is a delightful treat with a nostalgic twist—layered with tender apples and a buttery oat topping that’s as easy to make as it is delicious. Ingredients:
4 medium apples
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup oats, uncooked
1/2 cup margarine, 1 stick (or butter)
4 sprays of cooking spray
Directions:
For convenience, you can use 16 ounces of applesauce or canned apples instead of fresh apples. Both peeled and unpeeled apples work well in this recipe.
