Applesauce Pancakes

These easy-to-make pancakes are perfect for busy mornings—just freeze them ahead of time and pop them in the microwave or toaster for a warm, comforting breakfast. You’ll love the simple ingredients and delicious flavor!

Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup non-fat instant dry milk powder
1 cup water
2 eggs
1 tablespoon canola oil (or your preferred cooking oil)
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder

Directions:
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together applesauce, dry milk powder, water, eggs, and oil.
  2. Stir in flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder until the mixture has small lumps.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  4. Pour 1/2 cup batter onto the skillet.
  5. Flip pancakes when bubbles appear on the surface, then cook the other side for about 1 minute, or until golden brown.
