Banana Cookies

Soft, fluffy, and full of sweet banana flavor—these comforting cookies are just like the ones from our childhood! 🍌🍪

Ingredients:
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 bananas)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
