Beef Steak Fried Rice

Ingredients:
- 300g (10oz) beef steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
- 3 cups cooked jasmine rice (day-old works best)
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup frozen peas & carrots mix
- 2 green onions, sliced
- White pepper to taste
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok over high heat. Cook beef for 1 minute until browned but still pink inside. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining oil. Sauté garlic and onion for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Push ingredients to one side, pour eggs on the other side and scramble.
- Add rice, breaking up clumps. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Mix in sauces, vegetables and beef. Cook for 1 more minute until heated through.
- Finish with green onions and sesame oil.
