This Caramel Crunch Tart is a sweet slice of heaven—rich caramel nestled in a crunchy Oreo crust, topped with crispy, chocolatey goodness. Easy to make, impossible to resist!
Ingredients:
1. Make the crust: Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor (or pop them in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin). Mix with the melted butter until well combined.
2. Form the tart shell: Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan, making sure it's evenly packed.
3. Add the caramel layer: Pour the caramel sauce over the crust and spread it into an even layer. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes, or until firm.
4. Make the chocolate crunch topping: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until fully melted. Stir in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
5. Assemble and chill: Spread the chocolate crunch mixture over the caramel layer and smooth it out. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) until set.
6. Serve and enjoy: Slice, serve, and prepare for compliments!
