Chicken Florentine Casserole

Whip up this creamy , hearty, cheesy casserole packed with tender chicken, savory spinach, and a golden breadcrumb topping. It’s the perfect comfort food for a cozy night at home or to share with family!

Ingredients:

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
3 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 package (10 oz) frozen creamed spinach, thawed
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup minced fresh basil (loosely packed)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Cook the macaroni according to package directions and drain.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken, cream of mushroom soup, Swiss cheese, creamed spinach, mayonnaise, basil, garlic powder, thyme, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Gently fold the drained macaroni into the chicken mixture, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to an ungreased 2.5-quart baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, toss the bread crumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake, uncovered, for 40-45 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
