Chicken Pot Pie

Creamy, comforting, and wrapped in golden crust—this chicken pot pie is the ultimate dinner everyone will love! 🥧🍗

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cubed
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup frozen green peas
  • ½ cup sliced celery
  • ⅓ cup butter
  • ⅓ cup chopped onion
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 ¾ cups chicken broth
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Boil chicken, carrots, peas, and celery for 15 minutes. Drain.
  3. In a saucepan, cook onions in butter until soft. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and celery seed. Slowly stir in broth and milk. Simmer until thick.
  4. Place chicken mixture in the bottom crust. Pour sauce over it, then cover with top crust and seal edges.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
