Chipotle trivia game returns with more prizes and a longer play period

A popular online challenge is back, giving Chipotle fans another chance to win free food and rewards.
For the first time, the annual event will run for two weeks, meaning more days to play and more prizes to claim.
This year’s prize pool is the biggest yet, with rewards for both perfect and near-perfect scores.
But just like Chipotle’s freshest menu items, these offers won’t last long.
The trivia game—called Chipotle IQ—is now in its sixth year.
The company says it will give away 6,000 buy-one-get-one entrée codes, 2,000 free Adobo Ranch offers, and 2,000 free Queso Blanco offers every hour to the first 10,000 players who score a perfect 5 out of 5.
Players who score 4 out of 5 will get 25 Chipotle Rewards points when available.
There will be up to 300,000 Chipotle Rewards points given out each day—slightly less than the 400,000 initially announced.
Fans can win up to three prizes during the two-week promotion, including one BOGO offer, one side, and 25 rewards points.
“We saw a 20% year-over-year increase in participation from 2023 to last year, underscoring just how much our fans enjoy putting their knowledge of Chipotle to the test,” said Chris Brandt, President and Chief Brand Officer.
“As we return for the sixth year, we’re leveling up the experience with our longest gameplay period in the promotion’s history and our biggest prize pool yet.”
Chipotle IQ will run from 9:01 AM ET to 8:59 PM ET on August 12–14 and August 19–21.
Players can expect multiple-choice, true-or-false, and short-answer questions, with one play allowed per day.
