Coconut Macaroons

Craving something sweet and chewy? These Coconut Macaroons are quick to make, packed with coconutty goodness, and perfect for satisfying that sweet tooth!

Ingredients:
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract (optional)
  • 7 cups sweetened flaked coconut
  • 2 large egg whites
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and almond extract. Stir in coconut until well coated.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the coconut mixture.
  4. Drop rounded spoonfuls of the coconut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until macaroons are lightly golden brown.
  6. Let cool completely before serving.
