Coconut Macaroons

- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract (optional)
- 7 cups sweetened flaked coconut
- 2 large egg whites
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and almond extract. Stir in coconut until well coated.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the coconut mixture.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls of the coconut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until macaroons are lightly golden brown.
- Let cool completely before serving.
