Couple’s wedding guest list includes 200 residents from the senior living center where they met

Weddings are often seen as the ultimate celebration of love, family, and the special connections that shape who we are, bringing together the people who matter most for a day filled with meaning and memory.

But for one couple in Webster, New York, the circle of cherished guests expanded well beyond the expected gathering of relatives and friends, reaching into a community bond that made their day even more extraordinary.

When Taylor Orlando married her husband, Jason, she made sure another family was there too: the 200 residents of the senior living center where their love story first began.

Taylor and Jason first met as teenagers at Baywinde Senior Living Center. She was just 15 when she started as a server, while Jason worked in maintenance.

“We just kinda crossed paths, connected there, and then the rest is history,” Taylor recalled. Over the years, Baywinde became more than just a workplace—it became home to an entire community of mentors, cheerleaders, and, as Taylor fondly calls them, her “200 grandparents.”

So when their wedding day came, the couple couldn’t imagine leaving them out. After their official ceremony, they returned to Baywinde for a second celebration, walking in not just as newlyweds but as family.

“I’m excited to celebrate this big chapter of my life with them,” Taylor said on her wedding day, glowing in her sleeveless gown, her hair pinned up with soft curls framing her face.

For the seniors at Baywinde, the wedding wasn’t just another event on the calendar. It was a moment to witness love they had watched blossom from the start.

But Taylor and Jason’s choice to include their “200 grandparents” is a reminder that the richest celebrations are often the ones filled with gratitude.
