Crunchy Chili-Spiced Chickpeas

Looking for a snack that’s easy-peasy and extra crispy? These air-fried chili-lime chickpeas pack a punch of bold flavor with just the right amount of crunch—perfect for nibbling, sprinkling, or sharing (if you must!).

Ingredients:
  • 1 (15-oz.) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • Finely grated lime zest, for garnish
Directions:
  1. Pat the chickpeas dry using paper towels—removing excess moisture helps them crisp up beautifully.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, chili powder, and salt, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
  3. Transfer the seasoned chickpeas to your air fryer basket, making sure to scrape in all the flavorful oil. Air fry at 370°F for 10 to 14 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they turn crispy and golden brown.
  4. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature. Just before serving, sprinkle with freshly grated lime zest for a zesty kick.
