My Parents should have bought stock in Dippity Do! My hair was straight as a board, no amount of Dippity Do would put a curl in it! I tried so hard! i slept on those brush rollers with so much Dippity Do it’s a wonder my head didn’t stick to the pillow! Next morning, I would take those rollers out with beautiful curls! Until I brushed my hair, brushed those curls right out of my hair! I think my hair was just too long to hold a curl. But when the Beatles hit the scene, my long straight hair was in! Now all my friends wanted long straight hair!

I had the green Dippity Do! I used it with my brand new electric rollers starting in Junior High. It wasn’t too helpful though. My naturally curly hair sprang right back into a Shirley Temple style hair do. Straight hair was in. My hair was not! I hoped that my curlers would whip it into the desired shape. Nope!
