According to Costco’s website, even more stores are on the way, including new locations in the US, Japan, and Australia.
In fact, the company plans to open six more US locations, two in Canada, and four additional international stores within the next six months.
"We have big plans for the rest of the fiscal year," Vachris said, with the fiscal year ending on August 31.

Vachris described the situation as "very fluid" but reassured members that the company is working hard to manage costs effectively.
"Our team remains agile, and our goal will be to minimize the impact of related cost increases to our members," he said.
Costco’s success isn’t just about expansion—it’s also reflected in its strong financials.
The company’s net sales for the 12-week period ending February 16 saw a 9.1% increase, reaching $62.53 billion compared to $57.33 billion the previous year.
US sales alone grew by 8.6%.
Membership is also on the rise, with 78.4 million paid memberships—a 6.8% increase from last year.
Additionally, membership income grew by 7.4%, showing that Costco’s loyal customer base continues to expand.
