Flying Snake?
We’ve all had odd run-ins with nature—a squirrel getting too bold at a picnic, or a bird dropping an unfortunate “gift” from above—but this? This one takes the cake.
In 2023, Peggy Jones, a 64-year-old woman from Silsbee, Texas, was out mowing her lawn when a snake fell from the sky and wrapped around her arm.
Yes, really. As if that weren’t enough, a hawk swooped down right after—likely trying to reclaim its lunch—and clawed at her to retrieve the snake, leaving Peggy scratched and stunned but thankfully snakebite-free.
Her husband rushed her to the ER, and she’s doing fine now… but wow. Mowing the lawn will never feel the same again.
