Frank Sinatra in Die Hard?
Did you know that Frank Sinatra was offered the lead role in Die Hard? Sinatra, who was then 70 years old, turned down the role of John McClane, of course. But according to the producers, they were contractually obligated to offer Sinatra the role after he had starred in Die Hard's "prequel": The Detective. This was also one of the biggest box-office hits of Sinatra's movie career and became one of the highest-grossing movies of 1968!
