Free sandwich? Yes, really. But is there a catch?

To all sandwich aficionados and March Madness enthusiasts, this one’s for you!

Arby's, the fast-food chain renowned for its hearty selection of meats, is back with another mouthwatering promotion that's sure to have you cheering, regardless of the basketball scores.

Are you ready to score more freebies?

If you thought their St. Patrick's Day Corned Beef Reuben giveaway was a slam dunk, wait until you hear about their latest offer that's perfectly timed with the return of college basketball's biggest tournament.

Arby's is no stranger to dishing out delicious deals. Remember last year's Double the Meats Meal?

A sandwich, fries, and a drink for a mere $7 was a steal. And who could forget the Surf & Turf Deal, where two signature sandwiches came at a price that didn't break the bank?

Well, this week, they're upping the ante with a free sandwich giveaway that's bound to make March Madness even more thrilling.

From March 20 through March 24, Arby's is offering a free à la carte sandwich with any $15 purchase.

But, as with any great play, there's a strategic catch: the deal is only valid if an underdog men's basketball team pulls off a victory during the opening weekend of the tournament.

Keep your eyes peeled for those bracket-busting upsets because any team ranked between 9 and 16 that wins will trigger the Arby’s Upset Alert deal the following day.

This offer is available at participating Arby's locations for online orders and pickup, but not for delivery.

You can choose any sandwich from the menu, but there's a limit of one free sandwich redemption per day, the day after an upset occurs.
