According to insiders, the couple has chosen to exchange vows in the very kind of venue where they first met: an open-air theater tucked somewhere in the heart of Venice.
“It's not your usual venue for a wedding; it would be iconic,” one source told The US Sun. And iconic it will be—right down to the fact that it’s accessible only by boat.
That’s right: guests—including celebrities, CEOs, and cultural figures—will arrive by private water taxi, gliding along the Grand Canal to what’s being described as the most exclusive wedding Europe has seen in years.
In true Bezos fashion, no expense is being spared. The wedding is expected to include live performances by Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John—two musical legends and personal favorites of the couple.
“Lauren wanted some big talent to sing for them, and it just doesn't get any bigger than Gaga and Elton,” a source told The Daily Mail. Both artists, who are close friends, are said to be performing some of their most well-loved songs, possibly even a duet.
“It will be like a mini vacation for the besties,” the insider added. For guests, it’s not just a wedding—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime private concert.
