Fruit-Glazed Pork Chops

These tender, juicy pork chops get a delicious upgrade with a fruity barbecue glaze. Simple to make and full of flavor, it’s a comforting classic that never goes out of style!

Ingredients:

1/3 cup hickory smoke-flavored barbecue sauce
1/2 cup apricot or peach preserves
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
6 bone-in pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick, about 8 oz each)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, preserves, corn syrup, mustard, and cloves. Set aside.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat a lightly oiled grill to medium heat (or set your broiler to high).
  4. Grill or broil the chops for 4-5 minutes per side, basting frequently with the sauce, until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
