Garlicky Greek Chicken

A flavorful, Mediterranean-inspired dish that combines tender chicken with zesty garlic, lemon, and fresh herbs—perfect for any dinner table!

Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
Directions:
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  4. While the chicken cooks, combine garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and parsley in a small bowl.
  5. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the skillet and pour the garlic-lemon mixture into the pan, scraping up any brown bits. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan and coat it with the sauce.
  7. Optional: Sprinkle with feta cheese for extra flavor.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley.
