My last grandson born was 1 lb 7 oz at birth. He was in the NICU for 4 months before coming home. He was behind in all the things that babies do. He had a walker that he used to walk with. One day at my house the walker wasn't within reach and he turned around and just walked over to it on his own! I screamed so loud I think I scared him and he sat down and started to cry. I was clapping my hands saying what a big good boy look at you walked without the walker, yay!!! And then he started running and he hasn't stopped since. He's 4 years old now!
