I actually have 2 , both passed to me from my mother ,one is a rolling pin solid piece of wood ,appears to have been carved ,the other a small metal flour sifter.

I have what today would be considered a “stick vac” in a lovely shade of avocado green. I married early and we immediately moved out of state. My Mom made the trek to visit us and brought the vacuum along. Still works great and is still avocado green, after 56 years!

My Mom's rolling pin even has dough imbedded in handle. And a quilt that my Great Aunt made and is over a 100 yrs old. Sorta tattered but will never part with it. Took white plain blocks Sunday School kids signed their names, she embrodried them and then sewed them with color full print of what ever she could find.

My lamb cookie jar. My mom got it from her mom and it’s been mine since Sep 1972! Yes, it’s been mine for exactly 52 years and 7 months and keeps my cookies fresh! I don’t know what the original color was but now it’s all white. My mom said that when she was growing up it had a black nose and a reddish nose. I won’t ever get rid of Lammy!
