The day my 1st granddaughter was born and I took my first plane ride
Two beautiful milestones — thank you for sharing them @Wiseoldone ! The day your first granddaughter was born must have filled your heart with so much joy. There’s nothing quite like that first moment of holding a new generation in your arms. And your first plane ride — how exciting! That’s a big moment in itself, and one you never forget. It’s lovely that you have two such meaningful days to look back on with a smile.

I would go back to any day in the year of 1986. My family members were all still alive and I worked for the New York Mets and they won the World Series. Both my home life and work life was the best ever.
What a golden time that must have been — surrounded by loved ones, and part of such an iconic moment in baseball history! 1986 sounds like a year filled with pride, joy, and unforgettable memories, both at home and at work. Being with your family and working for the Mets during their World Series win — that’s something truly special. Thank you for sharing such a vibrant and meaningful chapter of your life @pazzmann ! It’s wonderful to hear how one year can hold so much happiness.

My wedding day followed by the day I got baptized
Two incredibly meaningful days — thank you for sharing them @Wellman . Your wedding day must have been filled with love and joy, and your baptism sounds like a deeply personal and spiritual milestone. It’s beautiful how both moments reflect love, commitment, and faith in different but equally powerful ways. What a gift to have those memories to hold close.

My last Christmas with my dad in 1985 as he passed away early 1986. Seeing the joy on his face at the gifts he received. The family all together sharing dinner. That was the first Christmas I was able to get off of work. ( I worked at a movie theater than).
Thank you for sharing such a touching memory @Hazeleyes . That Christmas in 1985 sounds incredibly special — not just because it was your last one with your dad, but because you were able to be there, surrounded by family and seeing the joy on his face. It’s moments like those that stay with us forever. Sending warm thoughts your way as you hold onto that beautiful memory. ❤️

That’s so wonderful to hear @bobbibonn ! The Walk to Emmaus is such a powerful experience, and it’s beautiful that those three days left such a lasting impact on you. “Most awesome” really says it all — it must have been filled with meaning, connection, and spiritual renewal. Thank you for sharing that with us — it's inspiring to hear how deeply those days touched your life! Was there a particular moment during your Walk that stood out the most for you?

June 7,1969 My wedding day! Mike died 3/29/2020, and I still miss him!
Thank you so much for sharing that special date with us. June 7, 1969 must hold so many beautiful memories — the beginning of a lifelong journey with your beloved Mike. I’m so sorry for your loss. After so many years together, it’s no surprise that you still miss him deeply. Your love story is a touching reminder of the bonds that last well beyond a lifetime @Marilea . Holding you in kind thoughts as you continue to carry those cherished memories in your heart. ❤️

The day I was sworn into the United States Navy, January 9, 1970. It just happens to have been the anniversary that my dad was sworn into the United States Navy.
What an incredible and meaningful day — thank you for sharing this with us @glojeans13 . Being sworn into the United States Navy is a proud and powerful moment on its own, but having it fall on the same date as your dad’s swearing-in makes it even more special. That shared legacy must fill you with pride, knowing you followed in his footsteps and honored his service in such a personal way. A true full-circle moment in both service and family. Thank you for your service — and for sharing such a remarkable memory with us.

I have 2 days in mind. Firstly I want to relive my wedding day. It was September 1972. I had a fever of 103.1. Most of my memories are from my husband’s recollections. That will be 53 years ago this September!
The 2nd day I want to relive is the first day of Basic Training for the Air Force in March 1971! I was never as proud of myself as I was swearing in, repeating the same oath as many do by all kinds of people who want to serve our country! 🫡 🇺🇸
Thank you for sharing both of these powerful moments — each one so meaningful in its own way. Your wedding day in September 1972 sounds like such a special occasion, even if you weren’t feeling your best. How wonderful that your husband’s memories helped fill in the gaps — and that you’ll be celebrating 53 years this year! That’s truly something to celebrate. And your first day of Basic Training in the Air Force — what a proud and unforgettable milestone. Swearing in and taking that oath is such a powerful experience, especially knowing you were joining generations of others who’ve served with honor. Thank you for your service and for sharing these remarkable chapters of your life with us @Gayle B. !

The day my doctor told me my brain aneurysm was "healed"! It had a 95% chance of bursting before the coiling. Five years after it was coiled he said it was like it was never there! Sigh!
Wow — what an incredible day that must have been! To hear those words from your doctor after facing something so serious is nothing short of a miracle. A 95% chance of bursting... and to come through it with such a positive outcome is truly amazing. I can only imagine the relief, gratitude, and joy you must have felt hearing that it was like it was never there. Moments like that are life-changing and so worth celebrating. Thank you for sharing such a powerful and uplifting part of your journey @lavender3 !

I guess this sounds corny but the day I meant my husband. I went through an abusive marriage the first time. I met my now husband at my sister's house. I fell hard. Now this year we will be married 43 years.

After everything you’d been through, meeting someone who brought love, safety, and joy into your world must have felt like a breath of fresh air.
