Hey, GrayViners!

I’m heading out for dinner with my high school friends tonight since it’s been forever since we all got together, and I can already feel the laughter (and the gossip ) coming! You know those nights—catching up on who’s doing what, who’s moved where, and maybe even who’s dating who now.

It got me thinking about how we all fit into those conversations. Some of us are total chatterboxes, keeping the stories and laughs going. Others love to just sit back, listen, and quietly enjoy every bit of the drama unfolding at the table.

So tell me, GrayViners—are you the type of friend who’s more of a talker or a listener?

I’m definitely a listener—I love hearing everyone’s updates and catching all the little details. It’s the best part of reconnecting!

I used to just listen, now I ask questions and get others talking , then I add to my experiences. I guess because Im 75 and live by my self.

I am a good listener but I also expect others to listen to me when i have issues I want to talk about.

I like to listen. On occasion I might ask a question about what was said or something I felt was fascinating with the discussion.

I'm a listener. I find just listening to someone's problems, they usually solve their problems without me saying very much at all! Also, I have a hard time getting a word in edgewise most of the time.
