Ham and Potato Soup

This comforting classic just got even better with its creamy texture and satisfying chunks of ham.

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups diced cooked ham
  • 4 cups peeled, diced potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add ham and potatoes; cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in broth; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in cream; heat through (don't boil). Season to taste.
  5. Garnish with parsley before serving.
