Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cups frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cook the beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the casserole: In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer the thawed hash browns, followed by the beef mixture. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the cheese is melted and golden.
