Healthy Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (gluten-free if needed)
- 1 cup sugar-free granulated sweetener of choice
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 6 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup water
Directions:
- Prep the pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk flour, sweetener, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Add wet ingredients: Stir in vanilla extract, vinegar, and applesauce. Pour in water and mix until fully combined.
- Bake: Transfer batter to the prepared pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a skewer comes out just clean.
- Cool & serve: Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Frost if desired, or enjoy plain.
