I just joined today and want to introduce myself. I'm Janet (Alluetta: like the song but with my spelling). My husband and I retired in 2022 and moved from Bakersfield, CA to Ocean Shores, WA. I love to read, write, garden, craft, walk, and collect rocks. My favorite saying is "If you want to walk on water, you have to get out of the boat".

It’s great to hear about all your hobbies—reading, writing, and collecting rocks sound like a lot of fun! And that saying is such a great reminder to step out of our comfort zones.
